Our thermally broken aluminium opening vents for roof glazing systems are designed to provide effective natural ventilation in commercial and heritage glass roof applications. These low profile roof vents accommodate 28mm–36mm double or triple glazing, offering slim sightlines and reliable performance. These opening roof vents are commonly integrated into patent glazing and glass roof systems to improve airflow, temperature control and occupant comfort. They can be operated by a wide variety of manual, remote-controlled and electrical gearing systems, making them suitable for day-to-day ventilation and integration with a Building Management System (BMS).
Key Features:
- Versatile Installation: Suitable for both sloping and vertical applications.
- Size Specifications:
- Single Push Point Gearing: Manufactured to a maximum size of 750mm wide by 1500mm deep.
- Double Push Point Gearing: Manufactured to a maximum size of 1000mm wide by 2000mm deep.
- Optimal Placement: Typically installed at the top of the patent glazing in roof applications. However, the low profile roof vents can also be positioned in the centre or lower parts of the glazing by using alternative top and bottom panel sections.
- Stroke Length: Depending on the size of the opening vent and the gearing type used, the general maximum stroke length is around 400mm.
Our thermally broken opening vents combine innovative design with robust performance, making them an ideal choice for various glazing applications that require effective ventilation and enhanced environmental control.
The low profile roof vents are ideal for projects where minimal visual impact and slim glazing sightlines are required.
